New Speedpaintings
Recently I got a new wacom tablet, so I just want to paint on my little laptop all day long. Here are two new ones I did in painter. Usually I only work with Oils/Flat oil, on one layer, 'cause this makes me feel like working on real canvas with real brushes. No erasing, no undo.

Last week in school
I will be going home in two weeks. Yay~~! I'm so excited to see my families, and I will continue to work on my art in China -- there are life drawing classes everywhere which are also cheap. I don't like the instructions though, but it's not bad to just drop in and draw stuff!
I went life drawing yesterday and today. Maybe having too much fun...
School is very important. Just look at what I did before entering this school, and what I do now, it's easy to tell that education really can change something, and it's not just me. I can see great progress in everyone's work. We get inspired by looking at each other's stuff, so we can work harder. That's how people get improved.
Old painting (from imagination. I didn't know how to use oils at that time. No clue at all. )
New painting (from life. Acrylics. 3 hours)

I don't know how I got used to paint with watercolor, oils, and acrylics, but now I'm just amazed by these magical color tubes. Oh, I want to paint all day~~!
Here are some recent practice work.

School pieces
Last semester I really worked like hell, so I got a lot to scan and edit, but I'm too lazy. I just leave my work in the drawer.
Now I got 2 here, and they were badly photographed, not scanned.
I will sit down and do the scanning next week.
The first one was an assignment focusing on a favorite artist's style and trying to use the style in my own illustration. My chosen artist was James Jean.
The other one was just a quick acrylic portrait practice.
